Rivers State is a land of great resources and opportunities. It is land that will give any investor competitive advantage. Yet we have not realized our potentials.
We are witnessing a high level of unemployment, low investments, companies leaving, and lack of economic growth and development, especially in the rural communities.
We still have only one city status in Rivers State. Why are towns like Bori, Ahoada, Degema, Buguma, Okrika etc not being developed into modern cities?
We cannot continue this way.
After more than 50 years of existence, Rivers State should have been better than this. The career politicians have failed us. It is time for technocrats, professionals, and youths to come into governance to develop the state faster and in a sustainable manner to enable us to realize the “Rivers of our Dreams”.
Our motivation now is to encourage good men and women of integrity especially the technocrats, professionals, and youths to participate in governance.
The technocrats should bring into governance their managerial experience and knowledge of strategic leadership, development economics, dynamics of investment, and collaboration.
We are looking for good people who will rebuild Rivers State into a “Great state that will create jobs and develop the villages” – to have a secure and prosperous society.
It is time for good men and women to stop complaining and to rise up to become leaders or support other good people who want to become leaders in government.
We are looking for technocrats, professionals, and educated youths in all wards and LGAs who are willing to volunteer their time and talents to become Ward coordinators and LGA coordinators for this movement which is aimed at encouraging “Good people to take up leadership in Rivers State”.
We are looking for courageous people who want to give selfless service to get that Rivers State of their dreams.

One good person alone cannot change Rivers State but all of us can if we work together to support, finance or coordinate this movement.

Good candidates (technocrats, professionals, and youths) need our financial support and ideas to contest and win and bring development. Good men and women should support these good candidates through financial donations.
Elections require huge funds and most good people do not have that kind of money. It is the career politicians that accumulated our wealth to themselves that have that kind of money.
But “Little drops make an ocean”. If we pool our little donations, good candidates can contest. Even a monthly donation of N1000 each from a thousand persons can easily become N1,000,000 monthly. While N10,000 monthly donation each can lead to N10,000,000 monthly. We have the power but we are NOT courageous enough to use it.
